PASSION PROGRAMS CONDUCTED IN MELBOURNE IN APRIL 2008

Charles facilitated two successful One Day Passion Programs in Melbourne in April 2008. Information on this Program is found elsewhere on this site, but we thought you’d enjoy reading some of the testimonials from the participants:

“Thank you for your time today. I have enjoyed your session and have been able to gain greater clarity on the next phase in my life. I have already acted upon my passion, but my ‘swamp’ began to tell me that this may not be a possibility due to life’s responsibilities. Well, thank you! I am back on track and am really looking forward to what lies ahead.
Thank you again. God Bless.”

Arthur Lucas, Solicitor

“Thank you for your inspirational program that you presented on 5th April 2008.
I have attended many valuable learning and personal development programs over many years, and yours is up there with the best of them!
Your insights, experience, knowledge and wisdom were freely shared and gave me a number of excellent distinctions on behaviours in business and in life.
I believe that your Program is most worthwhile and I happily recommend it to anyone who wishes to improve their performance in their work and their life!
You are one of the most inspirational and passionate Speakers I have had the pleasure to listen to.“

CHARLES WINS GATORADE TRIATHLON AT ST KILDA ON 30 MARCH 2008

As many of you know, Charles has been competing in triathlons, of all distances, since November 1985. Accordingly, this summer was his 23rd consecutive season of competition: he has not missed a season since he started!

Triathlon competitions are conducted in age groups, and we are delighted to announce that Charles won the 55-59 Age Group Race at St Kilda on 30 March. The race was a ‘sprint’ distance of 600 metres swim, 20 kms bike, and 5 kms run.

Here’s the evidence below, of Charles on the dais receiving his gold medal!

CHARLES IS IN THE NEWS

On Tuesday, 29 May 2006, Charles was featured in an article in Melbourne’s Herald-Sun newspaper (one of the largest circulation newspapers in Australia) together with a (some would say) excellent colour photograph of Charles wearing a Melbourne Symphony Orchestra vest. The MSO is one of the world’s great orchestras, and the organisation, we are delighted to say, is one of our clients.

The key message in the article, that promotes Charles’ speaking appearances at the upcoming Mind Body Spirit Festival in Melbourne (June 10-12 2006), is that Australia (and the rest of the world) needs your work contribution well past 65 years of age! And that retirement is ‘an unnatural act’.

GLOBAL ENERGY NETWORK INSTITUTE ("GENI")

Charles is the President of GENI Foundation Ltd in Australia, and one of the three trustees of its Trust Fund. GENI researches and disseminates information on the relationships between population, development, environment and energy, and promotes a practical solution to the world's most pressing problems through the global interconnection of renewable resource energy.

See www.geni.org for some inspirational information.

GENI was founded on the brilliant ideas of Buckminster Fuller (1896-1983), affectionately known as 'Bucky'.

On July 12th, Bucky's Birthday, the U.S. Postal Service will be releasing a special commemorative Buckminster Fuller stamp to honour Fuller on the 50th anniversary of his patent for the geodesic dome.

Each stamp released by the Postal Service is marked by an official first day of issue ceremonies. The location chosen as the official first-day city for the Fuller stamp's historic public event--and the only location in the> United States where sales of the stamp take place that day--will be Stanford University, California, home of the Buckminster Fuller Archives.
